(1) Science Research Specialist I
Brief Description of the Position
- Generates maps and graphs for analytics;
- Develops work packages for GeoRiskPH;
- Assists the Senior SRS and SRS-II in disseminating information to partner agencies in GeoRiskPH;
- Assists in developing RS- and GIS-related outputs for DOST-PHIVOLCS and GeoRiskPH-related initiatives;
- Specializes on GIS/RS R&D and produces GIS/RS-related products and services in connection to hazards, vulnerability and risk studies of GeoRiskPH;
- Initiates design thinking R&D for improvement of products and services under GeoRiskPH;
- Supports risk and policy R&D initiatives;
- Supports GeoMapperPH and supports the National Exposure Database Program;
- Assists in hazards mapping; Conducts fieldworks and lectures;
- Publishes papers in peer-reviewed journals;
- Perform other functions as may be assigned

- Perform as speaker and facilitator during trainings on REDAS;
- Assist in information services to stakeholders
