(3) Science Research Assistant

Brief Description of the Position
Assigned to (1) Bulusan and (2) Mayon Volcano Observatories;

Reports to the Section Heads and the Resident Volcanologist;

Perform normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and reponsiblities;

Assist in sustaining the functionality, upkeep and efficiency of the Volcano Observatories and help maintain and secure its monitoring assets;

Collaborate and assist colleagues on fieldwork and participate in other monitoring R&D;

Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Standards
Education
Completion of 2 years studies in college. Graduates of any physical science-related fields are encouraged to apply.
