Project title:
Liquefaction Hazard Assessment for Resilient Schools in Greater Metro Manila Area: A Liquefaction Probabilistic Model Using Non-invasive Geophysical Techniques and Limited Borehole

Contract Duration:
July to December 2021

Job Description:
• Assist in various geophysical and geotechnical surveys related to the project
• Assist in analyzing various geophysical and geotechnical data.
• Assist in the post-field data processing
• Assist in the preparation of project documents
• Coordinate with Department of Education and other collaborative partners of the project
• Write progress reports and contribute to the project’s technical writing
• Other activities that are necessary for the project to be completed

Educational Background:
• Graduate of BS Geology, BS Geotechnical Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, BS Geo-Engineering, BS Statistics, Mathematics or, Computational Science - related field

Required skills and qualities:
• Licensed professional or with relevant certification
• Basic knowledge on database management
• Willing to be deployed continuously in the field
• Basic knowledge of mapping software (ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, etc.)
• Technical writing skills
• Science research skills
