(1) Science Research Analyst
Brief Description of the Position
Responsible for providing support to the Supervising SRS in implementing earthquake- and volcano-related projects and activities under the DRR Capacity Building program of the Agency for its various stakeholders;
Develops, summarizes and analyses Clients’ Satisfaction Feedback for capacity building activities;
Coordinates with stakeholders on the details of implementation of capacity building activities;
Manages various platforms for communication to stakeholders for capacity building activities;
Summarizes, writes and submits reports of capacity building activities implemented in various forms such as but not limited to news articles, accomplishments, monitoring form, major final output form;

Qualification Standards
Education
Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
Graduates of Communication (Mass, Broad, Audio-visual, Research, Development, Speech), Social Sciences, Journalism (Science), Community Development, Education, Geology, Seismology, Volcanology or any related fields are encouraged to apply.
Training
None required.
Those with relevant trainings in Training Needs Assessment, Design and Implementation/ Management of Trainings, Training Facilitation, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Gender and Development are encouraged to apply.
Experience
None required.
Those with experience and knowledge in the field of disaster risk reduction specifically disaster awareness and preparedness, public engagement, public speaking, writing reports and news articles, blended learning management. are encouraged to apply.
