Brief Description of the Position
Responsible for managing and implementing the Agency's program on development of timely communication materials appropriate to the needs and characteristics of its target audience;
Conceptualizes, designs and implements projects and activities and materials for DRR;
Generates proposals for materials development.
Writes reports and equivalent S&T awareness promotion outputs (design, production of earthquake, tsunami, volcano DRR materials; Directs implementation of projects on DRR;
Assists in the supervision, coordination and monitoring of the unit's activities;
Performs other duties assigned

Qualification Standards
Education
Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
Graduates of Communication, Visual Arts, Education or any related fields are encouraged to apply
Training
8 hours of relevant training.
Those with relevant trainings in Disaster Risk Reduction Graphics design, Website and social media development and Content Management are encouraged to apply
Experience
2 years of relevant experience.
Those with experience and knowledge in the field of disaster risk reduction specifically on packaging of information materials, writing of technical reports, conceptualization, public engagement and develop contents for website, social media, exhibit and audio-visual presentation are encouraged to apply.
