Project title: Mapping of Earthquake-related Landforms Project (MELP)

 

Contract Duration:
January – June 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)

 

Job Description:
 Use of GIS software to create and manipulate vector files, automate routine processes and develop and manage workflows
 Assist in writing technical reports
 Contribute ideas during meetings and reviews
 Interpret landforms related to landslide and assist in the analysis of various types of landslides
 Assist in building database and developing methods for landslide analysis
 Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

 

Educational Background
 Graduate or undergraduate of BS Geology, Geography, Geodetic Engineering or any related courses are encouraged to apply

 

Experience/Training/Competency
 Background in GIS (preferably ArcGIS) is an advantage
 Close attention to details
 Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills

Project title: Earthquake Hazards Assessment Mapping Project

 

Contract Duration:
January – June 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)

 

Job Description:
 Administers travel and other FAD-related documents (Travel Order, Itinerary, Procurement, Cash Advance, etc.)
 Assists in coordination and communication with concerned LGUs
 Coordinates and documents scheduled of each component activities to ensure delivery of results on time
 Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

 

Educational Background
 Completion of 2 years studies in college

 

Experience/Training/Competency
 Computer literate
 Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
 Able to draft letter communications and simple reports or instruction guideline with minimal supervision
 Close attention to details
 Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills
