Project Title: Capacity Development for PHIVOLCS Stakeholders
Contract Duration:
February –June 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)
Job Description:
Assist in the implementation of capacity building activities
Assist in the coordination and pre-activity meetings with stakeholders
Assist in the development, preparation, summarizing and analyses of capacity building forms
Assist in the preparation of capacity building supplies, materials and training/seminar/activity kits
Assist in the management of various platforms for communication to stakeholders for capacity building activities
Act as moderator/facilitator for various stakeholders
Assist in the daily operations of GDAPD such as but not limited to frontline services of the Division
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Educational Background
BS Science Communication, Communication (Mass, Broadcasting, Audio-Visual, Speech), Social Sciences, Journalism, Community Development, Education, Geology or any related courses are encouraged to apply
Experience/Training/Competency
Public relation skills
Communications skills
Email/ Facebook or related platforms private group management
Experience/ knowledgeable in hosting/ assisting in virtual training conference/ online training (Zoom and Google Meet)
Computer literate
Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Project Title: Scientific Information Dissemination thru Exhibit Development
Contract Duration:
February –June 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)
Job Description:
Assist in the development of interactive exhibit materials
Assist in the development of digital content of exhibit display
Assist in the promotion of PHIVOLCS disaster preparedness and risk reduction exhibit
Process (encode, summarize) accomplished exhibit evaluation forms
Coordinate meetings related to exhibit activities with other divisions and the suppliers
Assist in the daily operations of GDAPD such as but not limited to frontline services of the Division
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Educational Background
Graphic Arts, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Communication or any related courses are encouraged to apply
Experience/Training/Competency
Public relation skills
Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and other image editing software
Computer literate

Job Description:
Assist in the compilation of data
Prepares and drafts figures and maps
Assist in the preparation of manuscripts
Prepares, collates, and summarized project-related forms
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Educational Background
BS Geology or any related courses are encouraged to apply
Experience/Training/Competency
Science research skills (Investigation and Research skills)
Technical writing skills
Presentation skills
Proficiency in GIS software, Microsoft Office, and Google Doc
Working knowledge in Earth Science and Disaster Risk Reduction is an advantage
