Contract of Services under Earthquake Geology and Geophysics R&D Section (EGGRDS) of Geology and Geophysics Research and Development Division (GGRDD)
Project title: Mapping of Earthquake-related Landforms Project (MELP)
Contract Duration:
March –June 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)
Job Description:
Use of GIS software to create and manipulate vector files, automate routine processes and develop and manage workflows
Assist in writing technical reports
Contribute ideas during meetings and reviews
Interpret landforms related to landslide and assist in the analysis of various types of landslides
Assist in building database and developing methods for landslide analysis
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Educational Background
Graduate or undergraduate of Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geography, Geodetic Engineering or any related courses are encouraged to apply
Experience/Training/Competency
Knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS), preferably ArcGIS
Close attention to details
Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills
