Project description:
The PHIVOLCS-funded project Development of Early Warning Systems for Landslides, also known as the DYNASLOPE Project, is a multidisciplinary endeavor addressing the problem of landslide risk. The project is composed of instrumentation engineers, software engineers, civil engineers, geologists, social scientists, and community developers working together towards the development of a community-based early warning system for landslides.

Monthly Salary: PhP 59,802.00
Job Description
● Supervise day-to-day operations of the Sensor Development and Hardware Infrastructure Team;
● Conduct CBEWS-L Hardware Communications related development or systems deployment and maintenance, or related sensor developments;
● Actively participate in project-level management and planning process;
● Develop methods and tools for sensor data monitoring and analysis;
● Conduct pre and post fieldwork administrative tasks;
● Conduct work related to implementation of early warning system protocol;
● Submits necessary individual/team/group documents to MEAL
Educational Background
● BS Electronics and Communications Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, BS Applied Physics
Experience/Training/Competency
● Preferably, licensed professional
● At least two (2) years experience in relevant field, preferably in instrumentation, electronics and computer engineering;
● Preferably, adept in instrumentation and electronics development;
● Microcontroller firmware development;
● Various programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc)
