Brief Description of the Position
Supervise the MIS Section and advise on matters relating to Information and Communication Technology;
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Information Technology systems and application at the Institute;
Perform systems, network communication and data base management and administration;
Oversee the setting up, configuration and maintenance of computer systems;
Oversee the upgrade, repairs and preventive maintenance of hardware and software systems;
Supervise the design, development, implementation and update the website of the Institute;
Maintains security of the Institute's website;
Formulate and implements ICT policies;
Develop and implement ICT related plans and programs;
Performs other duties assigned

Education

Brief Description of the Position
Handles inventory report of all PPE including those from GIA funded projects and donated PPE;
Analyze and reconcile all PHIVOLCS Property, Plant and Equipment against the Accounting records;
Accept delivery of goods and prepares documents related to acceptance of the delivery;
Handle tagging of delivered goods;
Assist in the preparation of all documentary requirements for Negotiated Procurement;
Prepare correspondence and report for submission to COA and other agencies;
Performs other duties assigned
