Brief Description of the Position
Reports to the VMEPD Division Chief;
Partly in charge of accomplishing the targets of the Volcano Observatory Operations and Management or VOOM Project;
Responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional, infrastructural, logistical and personnel targets and needs of the Volcano Observatories and the VMEPD Main Office;
Assist the Division Chief in the management of the Volcano Observatory Operations Section;
Coordinate with all Project teams and Volcano Observatories in related work concerns;
Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time

Position Title

Reporting to the Section Head and the Resident Volcanologist;
Perform normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities as personnel of their respective Volcano Observatory;
Assist in sustaining the functionality, upkeep and efficiency of the Volcano Observatory and help maintain and secure its monitoring assets;
Collaborate and assist colleagues on fieldwork and participate in other monitoring R&D;
Assist in performance of administrative commitments;
Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time
