Contract of Services under Volcano Monitoring and Eruption Prediction Division (VMEPD) assigned at Volcano Observatory Operations and Management Section - Taal Volcano Observatory
Contract Duration:
August – December 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)
Job description:
■ Performs normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities
■ Maintains functionality, upkeep and efficiency of Taal Volcano Observatory’s network and remote stations
■ Provides information services to stakeholders within the area of responsibility
■ Assists colleagues on fieldwork and participates in monitoring R&D
■ Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
○ Educational background
■ Graduate of BS Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Industrial Technology or any related courses are encouraged to apply
○ Required skills and qualities
■ With at least 1 year of experience in engineering or science-job
■ Technological skills
■ Analytical thinking
■ Self-motivated and with dedication to work
■ With Level 2 Professional Driver’s License
■ Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills
■ Preferably living within or nearest Batangas City
