Brief Description of the Position
• Facilitates and serves the GIS and development teams in terms of driving initiatives and continuous improvement of platforms and other development activities;
• Monitors changes in schema of services from the development team;
• Relays requests related to schema or services from the development team to GIS;
• Manages published services;
• Maintains achived data of the partner agencies;
• Setup, configure, and maintain ArcGIS instances (Enterprise, Pro, Desktops);
• Knowledge in using Artificial Intelligence for mapping;
• Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time

Brief Description of the Position
• Generates maps and graphs for analytics;
• Develops work packages for GeoRiskPH;
• Assists the Science Research Specialist II in disseminating information to partner agencies and LGUs in GeoRiskPH;
• Assists in developing RS-and-GIS-related products and services under GeoRiskPH;
• Specializes on GIS/RS R&D and produces GIS/RS-related products and services in connection to hazards, vulnerability and risk studies of GeoRiskPH;
• Initiates design thinking R&D for improvement of products and services under GeoRiskPH;
• Supports risk and policy R&D initiatives;
• Supports GeoMapperPH and supports the National Exposure Database Program;
• Assist in hazards mapping;
• Conducts fieldworks and lectures;
• Publishes papers in peer-reviewed journals;
• Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time
