Employment status:
Contract of Services under Volcano Monitoring and Eruption Prediction Division (VMEPD) assigned at Volcano Network Development (VND) Section


Contract Duration:
October – December 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)


Job description:
■ Reporting to the Volcano Network Development Section Head, Officer-in-Charge, and the Division Head
■ Assist in the upkeep of Volcano Observatories Network System
■ Perform data encoding to the VND equipment, inventory and repair monitoring system
■ Maintenance and encoding of data/database
■ Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

 

○ Educational background
■ Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or any related courses are encouraged to apply

 

○ Required skills and qualities
■ With at least 1 year experience in engineering or science-based job
■ Experience in computer programming and networking
■ Computer, Technological, Database knowledge and skills
■ Can work with minimal supervision
■ Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills
