Contract Duration:
November – December 2022 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)
Job description:
■ Provide assistance in sorting and organizing petrogeochemical data related to Parker Volcano
■ Responsible for collating, reading, and reviewing related literature covering topics on petrology, geochemistry, and magma genesis
■ May be required to digitize existing geologic map, other tasks include arranging images, tables and graphs needed for the publication
■ Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
○ Educational background
■ Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or any related courses are encouraged to apply
○ Required skills and qualities
■ Good grasp on the field of Geology, Petrology and Geochemistry
■ Background in REE and isotope geochemistry is an advantage
■ Knowledge in Technical Report Writing
■ Background in ArcGIS is advantage
■ Close attention to details and good organizational skills
