Employment Status:
Contract of Service under Accelerated Earthquake Multi-hazards Mapping and Risk Assessment Program of the Philippines (ACER Program)
Monthly Salary: P56,070.00
Job Description:
- Develops and maintains systems, workflows, and computer codes to efficiently process hazard information and improve methodologies related earthquake hazard research and mapping
- Participate in the development of relevant applications and dashboards for hazards and risk assessments
- Design and develop web visualization applications
- Support GIS and IT innovations
- Conducts analysis and interpretation of processed data Writes technical reports and work instructions
- Assists the Project Leader in ensuring that project outputs and goals, and other administrative requirements are achieved
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned
Educational Background:
- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related courses are encouraged to apply
Experience/Training/Competency:
- Preferably with experience in systems design and development, database maintenance, and other related work
- Analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
- Knowledgeable in GIS (ArcGIS)
- Knowledgeable in WebGIS and web mapping APIs
- Experience in PHP Laravel Framework
- Proficient in Python / Flask / Node.js /PostgreSQL
- Experience in Version Control (Git)
