One (1) Project Technical Assistant VI / Computer Programmer II

 

Monthly salary: Php 43,943.00/month

 

Project Title: ACER Project 4: Deterministic Ground Shaking and Earthquake-Induced Landslide Hazard Modeling Using Geophysics, Remote Sensing, and Artificial Intelligence

 

Employment Status: Contract of Services under ACER Project 4: Deterministic Ground Shaking and Earthquake-Induced Landslide Hazard Modeling Using Geophysics, Remote Sensing, and Artificial Intelligence of Geology and Geophysics Research and Development Division (GGRDD)

 

Contract Duration: May - December 2024

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related courses

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (State briefly):
- Develops and maintains systems, workflows, and computer codes to efficiently process hazard information and improve methodologies related to land-use planning
- Conducts analysis and interpretation of processed data
- Conducts research on machine learning applications by using appropriate technology or systems
- Writes technical reports and work instructions
- Assists the Project Leader in ensuring that project outputs and goals, and other administrative requirements are achieved
- Perform database configurations and maintenance
- Provide technical support
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

 

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/COMPETENCIES:
1. Preferably with experience in systems design and development, database maintenance, and other related work
2. Advanced analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
3. Experience or training/s in machine learning techniques using AI is an advantage
