One (1) Project Technical Aide VI
Project Title: Liquefaction Hazard Mapping and Research in the Philippines (LiquePhi Project)
Employment Status: Contract of Service
Monthly Salary: Php 25,355.00/month
Contract Duration: September - December 2024
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparation of pre- and post-fieldwork coordination and data preparation and collection
2. Assist in data collection during fieldworks
3. Use GIS software to create and manipulate vector files, automate processes, and develop workflows related to liquefaction hazard assessment and research
4. Assist in writing technical reports and creating technical review presentations
5. Assist in building and populating databases
6. Contribute ideas during meetings and reviews
7. Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time, including involvement in other projects
Educational Background: Graduate of BS Geology or related degrees
Experience/Training/Competencies
1. Knowledgeable in any GIS software
2. Basic knowledge in data management and Microsoft office
3. Basic mapping skills
4. Basic science research, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Good technical report writing skills
