Brief Description of the Position
- Assist in the management of the PHIVOLCS S&T library collections and databases
- Processes and retrieves requested library materials
- Recommends the selection and acquisition or subscription of materials on seismology, volcanology, disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM), and other relevant resources
- Prepares and submits monthly reports on library users
- Collects, sorts, scans, and indexes PHIVOLCS-related newspaper clippings and online articles and reports
- Sorts, encodes, and scans documents and significant records according to the prescribed format
- Participates in the conduct of project activities and research works
- Assists in the preparation of data and references for material development and dissemination
- Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time
