Rate/Month: Php 37,584.00/month

 

Contract of Duration: November 2024 - February 2025

 

Employment Status: Contract of Services under ACER Project 4: Ground Shaking (GS) and Earthquake-Induced Landslide (EIL) Hazard Modeling Using Geophysics, Remote Sensing (RS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

 

Educational Background: Graduates of BS Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any physical science-related fields are encouraged to apply

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conducts earthquake hazards mapping and research using geophysical, geomorphological, geological and AI techniques and instrumentation
2. Assists in the analysis and interpretation of processed data
3. Carries our research methods and activities in the project plan
4. Maintains equipments/instruments
5. Assists in writing of reports and publishable papers
6. Assists in operation/population/maintenance of databases
7. Assists in administrative tasks concerning the project
8. Presents results in written and oral manner
9. Performs other tasks related to the program that may be assigned from to time

Experience/Training/Competency
1. Able, willing and fit to travel and conduct fieldworks
2. Basic field mapping and GIS skills
3. Able to communicate well with coworkers, partners and stakeholders
4. Able to manage work schedule and project activities
5. With good technical writing and presentation skills
6. Programming skill is an advantage
7. With sound understanding of research topic principles and methodologies related to earthquake sources and effect
