Brief Description of the Position:
- Assist in the Operation and Maintenance of all the Stations of the Philippine Seismic Network (PSN) composed of 121 stations and the Philippine Tsunami Network (PTN) composed of 29 Sea Level Monitoring Station (SLMS) for tsunami detection and around 90 Community Tsunami Alerting Station (CTAS);
- Properly coordinate with three Cluster Centers and Mirror Station such as the PMCMCET, PVCMCET, and PTMS for the maintenance of respective stations within each cluster and Area of Responsibility (AOR);
- Participate in earthquake and tsunami data acquisition, processing, analysis and interpretation for quick inclusion of event parameters to timely issuance of Earthquake (EQInfo) and Tsunami Information;
- Assist the coordination works with all the Local Government Units (LGU) for earthquake and tsunami related matters and activities; Facilitate the compilation of all issued Earthquake and Tsunami Information;
- Assist in all improvement and station repair and rehabilitation projects of the Division especially those within the clustered stations in Visayas;
- Act a resource person and spokesperson when assigned by the Section Head, Division Chief and/or the Institute's Top Management;
- Other works assigned by the SOEPD Chief and STNO Section Head related to issuance and operations including external meetings and field trips to any of the stations.

Brief Description of the Position:
- Assist in the Operation and Maintenance of all the Stations (128 in 2024) of the Philippine Seismic Network (PSN);
- Assist in the Operation of three Cluster Centers and Mirror Station such as the PMCMCET, PVCMCET, and PTMS including necessary maintenance of respective stations within each cluster;
- Participate in earthquake data acquisition, processing, analysis and interpretation for quick inclusion of event parameters to timely issuance of Earthquake (EQInfo) and Tsunami Information;
- Participate in collecting earthquake data and up-to-date submission of daily earthquake and tsunami data;
- Facilitate the repair preventive maintenance and upgrade including Repair and Rehabilitation Projects of all the earthquake related stations and installations;
- Act as a resource person and spokesperson when assigned by Unit Head/Section Head/Division Chief;
- Other works assigned by the SOEPD Chief and STNO Section Head related to issuances and operations including external meetings and field trips to any of the stations.

Brief Description of the Position:
- Assist in the enhancement of system interface in the Data Receiving Center (DRC) towards sytem automation for issuing Earthquake and Tsunami Information, Warning and Advisories;
- Assist in the maintenance of any Earthquake and Tsunami Visualization Tool;
- Assist the technical personnel especially during earthquake and tsunami crises including the regular earthquake and tsunami network operations;
- Assist the preventive maintenance of both the seismic and tsunami networks, sensor fabrication works, and deployment of seismic and tsunami instruments;
- Assist the protection and safekeeping of all serviceable and non-serviceable equipment and instruments of STNO;
- Assist the technical personnel and Special Disbursing Officer in other administrative works such as payment of bills, delivery of communication letters and the likes;
- Other works that may be assigned by the Section Head or Division Head.
