1 Senior Science Research Specialist
Brief Description of the Position: Participate in the conduct of volcano-related R&D studies; Provide guidance to colleagues to help carry out and achieve goals and project targets; Assist the Division Chief and Section Head in the supervision, coordination, and monitoring of activities and personnel; Writes, edits, and publishes VGGGRD related technical papers; Performs supervisory role in Hazard Assessment Services (HAS) as verifiers and cross-checkers of hazard assessment certifications prior to release to the public; Perform other tasks as may be assigned form time to time, especially during times of emergencies.

Qualification Standards
Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.Graduates of BS Geology (with PRC license) or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Training: 8 hours of relevant training
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience. 2 years of relevant experience. Those with experience in volcano-related R&D studies are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility: Second Level Eligibility
Competency (if applicable): Superior Analytical thinking and problem solving; Advanced Analytical thinking and problem solving, Monitoring and evaluation, Persentation skills, Project Management, Science Research skills, Technical Knowledge and skills, Technical Writing; Intermediate Partnering and networking.
Place of Assignment: NCR Quezon City Volcano Geochemistry, Geology, Geophysics R&D Section of the Geology and Geophysics Research and Development Division
