(1) Science Research Specialist I

 

Brief Description of the Position:

Assists the Institute in capacity-building for volcanic hazards and earthquake safety with regards to housing, facilities and infrastructure.
Conducts relevant research for monitored active volcanoes.
Helps develop new applications and tools to increase the efficiency and accuracy of volcano monitoring.
Performs day-to-day monitoring duties and responsibilities and other duties and tasks assigned.

Monthly Salary: P 25,232.00

Education:

Bachelor's degree relevant to the job. Graduates of BS Engineering or any physical science-related fields are encouraged to apply.

 

Training:

4 hours of relevant training

Conducts relevant research for monitored active volcanoes.
Helps develop new applications and tools to increase the efficiency and accuracy of volcano monitoring.
Performs day-to-day monitoring duties and responsibilities and other duties and tasks assigned.
