Brief Description of the Position

Reports to the Division Head;

Will be appointed as Head of the Volcano Network Development Section;

Responsible for leading, supervising and assessing the performance of the section;

Oversee all technological, engineering, administrative and socialization aspects of commissioning, improvement and security of monitoring systems, facilities and networks; Coordinate with all the Project Teams and Volcano Observatories in related work concerns; Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Manage the functionality, upkeep and efficiency of the Volcano Observatories and help maintain and secure its monitoring assets;

Collaborate and assist colleagues on fieldwork and participate in other monitoring R&D;

Assist the supervisor in the performance of administrative commitments;

Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
