Brief Description of the Position
Permanently assigned to the Kanlaon Volcano Observatory (KVO), the successful candidate will report to the Volcano Observatories Operations Section Head. He/She will supervise normal and emergency mode monitoring at both KVO-La Carlota City and KVO-Canlaon City, maintain functionality, upkeep and efficiency of these facilities and Kanlaon’s network of remote stations, provide information services to stakeholders within its AOR, assist colleagues on fieldwork, participate in monitoring R&D and perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the VMEPD supervisors.
