Job Description

  1. Develop and document test plans and user scenarios to support quality assurance efforts and help prioritize testing activities based on project goals and stakeholder priorities;Develop and document test plans and user scenarios to support quality assurance efforts and help prioritize testing activities based on project goals and stakeholder priorities;
  2. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, interpret, and document system requirements and specifications relevant to project implementation and business outcomes;
  3. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gain insights into operational workflows, stakeholder expectations, and end-user needs;
  4. Create comprehensive and well-structured documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to guide project planning and execution;
  5. Maintain and update project documentation throughout the lifecycle to ensure accurate tracking of system changes, decisions, and deliverables;
  6. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the technical teams to facilitate effective communication, alignment, and collaboration;
  7. Translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders and ensure that stakeholder feedback is clearly communicated to technical teams;
  8. Analyze business and geospatial processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement and innovation;
  9. Develop visual aids such as business process flowcharts, system diagrams, and conceptual models to support planning and stakeholder engagement;
  10. Collaborate with development, design, and GIS teams to ensure proposed technical solutions are aligned with business goals, timelines, and user expectations;
  11. Support the execution of user acceptance testing (UAT), helping document results, address feedback, and ensure project readiness for deployment;
  12. Assist in managing and monitoring changes in project scope, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource availability.; and
  13. Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Project Leader and senior project staff.

 

Educational Background

– Preferably Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Geospatial-related courses (Geology, Geography; Geodetic Engineering)

 

Experience/Training/Competency

– Critical thinker; Analytical; Must be knowledgeable and skilled in geospatial frameworks and their applications; preferably with understanding of geological and hydrometeorological processes.
