Contract Duration: August 25 to December 31, 2025 (may be renewed if performance is satisfactory)

 

One (1) Project Technical Specialist IV for GeoRisk Philippines: Innovation for Resillience

 

Monthly Salary: PhP 61,628.00

 

Job Description
– Leads in coordination with stakeholders in organizing GeoRiskPH training/ workshops
– Leads in facilitating GeoRiskPH trainings or field works
– Organize local, regional, national level training
– Delivers work packages in the form of training modules, but not limited to, risk maps, hazard maps, risk information, tabulations, risk figures
– Coordinates with Supervising SRS, ITO’s, and unit heads regarding targets, deliverables, and other related information
– Ensures all activities and methodologies are well documented
– Writes travel report, articles, and other documents required for trainings
– Collaborates with GIS and IT heads, and other stakeholders to ensure GeoRiskPH platforms are accessible and usable to stakeholders
– Ensures delivery of work packages on time
– Conduct data cleansing and data management, create web maps and web apps for training
– Supervises SRS II, SRS I
– Preferably adept in ArcGIS

Educational Background
– BS Geology; BS Geography; BS Geodetic Engineering, Information Technology, or related course

Experience/Training/Competency
– With at least 2 years proven advanced knowledge in database systems and ArcGIS geodatabases;
– With good interpersonal and excellent communication skills; and
– With experience in managing teams.
