– Kanlaon Volcano Observatory- Volcano Observatory Operations Section of the Volcano Monitoring and Eruption Prediction Division

Job Description:

– Reporting to the VOO Section Heads and the Resident Volcanologist, the sucessful candidate will be assigned to Kanlaon Volcano Observatory.
– Perform normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities as personnel of KVOs.
– Assist in sustaining the functionality, upkeep and effieciency of the VOs and help maintain and secure its monitoring assets.
– Collaborate and assist colleagues on fieldwork, participate in other monitoring R&D and perform other task and responsibilities assigned by supervisors.

Training: 4 hours of relevant training

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

Job Description:

– Reporting to the VOO Section Heads and the Resident Volcanologist, the sucessful candidate will be assigned to Mayon Volcanology Observatory.
– Perform normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities, assist in sustaining the functionality, upkeep and efficiency of the VOs.
– Help maintain and secure its monitoring assets.
– Collaborate and assist colleagues on fieldwork, participate in other monitoring R&D and perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by supervisors.

– None required – (MC 11, s. 96 – Cat. III)
