Science Research Assistant

 

Brief Description of the Position

1. Assist in the processing of hazard and exposure data and calculates earthquake impacts

2. Assist in coordination with stakeholder related to impact results and in processing administrative tasks

3. Assist in the development of hazard monitoring tools

4. Assist in facilitating scientific sessions related to hazards, exposure and impact calculations

5. Assist in 24/7 earthquake and tsunami monitoring and assist in technical report writing

6. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by Supervisor

Qualification Standards

Education

Completion of two years studies in college (prior to 2018), OR Completion of Grade 12/Senior High School (starting 2016)
