Project title: Geospatial Information, Management and Analysis (GIMA)
Employment status: Contract of services under GeomHAS
Contract Duration: February to June 2026
Monthly Salary: Php 27,871.00 /month
Educational Background
– Graduate of either BS Geography, Geodetic Engineering, Geology Graduate or 4th yr student of related field
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design & generate value-added hazard maps
• Regional/ Provincial/ Municipal scale hazard maps
• Volcanic Hazard Maps
• Gender and Development (GAD)-sensitive maps
2. Adopt ArcGIS Enterprise in the conduct of information generation
3. Perform related geologic & hazard interpretations for generation of maps during emergency situations
4. Support in the maintenance and monitoring of the Geomatics & Hazard Assessment Services Operations
5. Support in ensuring that all maps produced are published on GISWEB portal
6. Generates reports, submits minutes of meeting attended.
7. Conducts fieldworks related to QRT (emergency disaster events) and perform tasks as may be required
Experience/ Training/ Competencies:
• Knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS) (ex. ArcGIS) and RS image processing (ex. radar (InSAR) and optical (change detection) is preferred
