Brief Description of the Position

Support the head of Geomatics & Hazard Assessment Service section;

Lead and ensure the development and implementation of the relevant GIS applications and methodologies for automation of processes and visualization for hazard and risk assessment;

Act as database manager for PHIVOLCS ArcGIS enterprise; Involved in R&D initiatives related to GIS &/or RS and improvements in products and services;

Attend meetings or conduct lectures

Monthly Salary

P 33,584.00

Qualification Standards

Education

Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
Graduates of BS Geology, BS Geography, BS Geodetic Engineering or related fields are encouraged to apply.

 

Training

4 hours of relevant training

 

Experience

1 year of relevant experience. Those with experience in developing and implementing workflow in ArcGIS;
managing projects and teams and has working knowledge on Remote Sensing are encouraged to apply.

Competency (if applicable)

Strong background in geodatabases, GIS workflows and GIS analyses;

Strong technical leadership skills;
Has knowledge in programming languages and GeoRiskPH
