Brief Description of the Position:
1. Integrated R&D and Data Analysis: Conduct advanced R&D activities, including processing and interpreting GPS data, applying 2D modeling for data visualization, and implementing established geophysical models to analyze crustal deformation patterns.
2. Scientific Documentation & Communication: Draft, revise, and present technical papers, detailed reports, and other scientific outputs to effectively communicate research findings.
3. Innovation & Proposal Development: Identify emerging research opportunities, recommend new R&D avenues, and develop proposals that leverage data insights and technological advancements.
4. Field & Operational Support: Provide technical support during on-site operations-such as inspections, equipment maintenance, and CORS installations-to ensure seamless integration between research objectives and field activities.
5. Automation & Monitoring Initiatives: Assist in developing automation tools for GPS data processing and participate in specialized monitoring activities (e.g., VADASE) to detect earthquake and non-earthquake anomalies.
6. Supplementary Responsibilities: Execute additional tasks as required to support overall project objectives and maintain high operational standards.

Brief Description of the Position:
1. Conduct R&D in seismic analysis, topographic amplification, site response and landslide hazards;
2. Assists in general administrative works. Submit relevant documentation to the project supervisors;
3. In charge of the geomorphologic, geotechnical, geophysical, geodetic and seismological data collation and processing;
4. Participate in writing technical papers and preparing presentations;
5. Assist in the conduct of training, capacity building, workshops, and consultations;
6. Assess hazards and contribute to the completion of target deliveries of the division;
7. Attend internal and external engagements;
8. Perform other tasks/functions (may not be exclusively project/section related) as may be assigned from time to time, especially during times of emergencies.
