Job Description

Reports to the Volcano Observatory Operations (VOO) Section Head.  Performs normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities as member staff of VOO.  Manages functionality, upkeep and efficiency of the Volcano Observatories and Main Office and its monitoring assets.  Assists colleagues on fieldwork and participates in other monitoring R&D.  Assists supervisor in the performance of administrative commitments.  Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Reports to the Resident Volcanologist (RV) in Bulusan Volcano Observatory (BVO) and the VOO Section Head.  Performs normal and emeregency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities as staff member of BVO. Manages functionality, upkeep and efficiency of BVO and its network of remote stations.  Provides information services to stakeholders within the area of responsibility of BVO as assigned.  Collaborates with colleagues on fieldwork and participates in monitoring R&D.  Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned vy the RV and other supervisors.
