Project description:

GeoRisk Philippines (GeoRiskPH) Initiative is a government-led multi-agency initiative led by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), to serve as the central resource of information on natural hazards and risk assessment. It aims to support the country’s resilience against natural hazards and risks through enhancing the Philippines’ disaster risk reduction and management efforts by providing geospatial information and tools for better decision-making.

Employment status:

Contract of Services under PHIVOLCS locally-funded project

 

Contract Duration:

April 2026 to June 30, 2026 (may be renewed if performance is satisfactory)

Monthly Salary: PhP 25,453.00

 

Job Description

  • Review Memorandum of Agreement or other documents submitted by GeoRiskPH stakeholders;
  • Draft reports and articles relevant to GeoRiskPH trainings/workshops;
  • Record minutes of the meetings;
  • Draft related administrative reports, as may be required by supervisor;
  • Analyze and assess project budget estimates, financial plans, and fund utilization;
  • Preferably able to review and draft contracts, and other related documents;
  • Collaborate with co-workers and other stakeholders;
  • Ensure that procurement requirements are submitted and met on time; and
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Educational Background

  • Bachelors degree relevant to the job

 

Experience/Training/Competency

– Computer literate, proficient in microsoft tools, effective communication skills, organization skills
