Brief Description of the Position:
– Reporting to the Section Head and Division Head
– Responsible for leading and conducting volcano monitoring database development, management and application activities for the Philippines’ most active volcanoes.
– Collaborating with other Projects to address their volcano database needs.
– Helping in the cyber-security and maintenance of PHIVOLCS-LAVA, LAVA-DOME and other information products of the division.
– Perform other functions as may be assigned

– Help operate, care and maintain equipment of the section
– Coordinate with all Project teams and Volcano Observatories in related work concerns

– Volcano Observatory Operations Section of the Volcano Monitoring and Eruption Prediction Division – Taal Volcano Observatory
Brief Description of the Position:
– Reporting to the Section Head and the Resident Volcanologist/ TVO Officer-in-Charge.
– Perform normal and emergency mode monitoring duties and responsibilities.
– Assist in sustaining the functionality, upkeep and efficiency of the Volcano Observatories and help maintain and secure its monitoring assets.
– Collaborate and assist colleagues on fieldwork.
– Participate in other monitoring Research and Development.
– Perform other functions as may be assigned
