Brief Description of the Position:
– Assists the Information Technology Officer and Senior Science Research Specialist on data management and QA/QC of GeoRiskPH services.
– Assists in maintaining the enterprise system of GeoRiskPH.
– Leads and assist in conducting trainings and workshops of GeoRiskPH platforms.
– Assists in maintaining the GeoRiskPH databases, publishing of map services, and account creation.
– Drives advancements in creating higher-value maps and analysis for PHIVOLCS and for other agencies and organizations for related assessments.
– Assists in disseminating information and engaging with partner agencies, and other stakeholders of GeoRiskPH.
– Leads and assists in the development of training modules for GeoRiskPH platforms and other workshop materials that may be needed.
– Supports development of relevant projects for the National Exposure Database Program through GeoMapperPH and other GeoRiskPH platforms.
– Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in the development and maintenance of the National Exposure Database and other initiatives started by GeoRiskPH.
– Conduct fieldworks and lectures.
– Publishes papers in peer-reviewed journals.
– Perform other functions as may be assigned.
