Job Description
- Develop and document test cases for testing and learn to prioritize testing activities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and document systems specifications
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information and gain insights into business processes.
- Create detailed and clear documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring it accurately reflects any changes or updates.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure understanding between both parties
- Translate technical terms into non-technical for stakeholders and vice versa
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Develop visual models such as flowcharts, diagrams, and prototypes to illustrate business processes and system functionalities.
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure that the proposed solutions align with business needs.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Assist in managing changes to project scope, timelines, and requirements.
- Ensure that stakeholders are informed about changes and understand their implications.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business priorities and project deliverables
- Provide training and support to end-users during and after the implementation of a new system or process.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Educational Background
- BS Information Technology or BS Computer Science
Experience/Training/Competency
- At least 3 years of involvement in systems development and other related work.
