Project title: Development of Information Gathering and Utilization Systems Using Small Remotely Piloted Aircrafts for Disaster Risk Assessment, Monitoring, and Response (RPA)

Employment status: Contract of Services under PHIVOLCS locally-funded project

Contract Duration: November to December 2025

Monthly Salary: PhP 25, 453.00

Job Description

  • Design, assemble and operate small remotely piloted aircrafts (RPAs) and related systems;
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and facilitating RPA workshops and fieldworks; 
  • Join fieldworks for RPA workshops and operations
  • Assist in writing technical reports
  • Contribute ideas during meetings and reviews
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time, including involvement in other projects

Educational Background

  • Graduate of either BS Electronics Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, or related degrees

 Experience/Training/Competency

  • Knowledge in electronics and schematics
  • Familiarity with RPA technology and applications preferred
  • Familiarity with operating RPAs preferred
  • Basic science research, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good technical report writing skills
