Project title: Hazard-Exposure-Loss Studies in the Philippines (HELP) Project

Implementing Agency: Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS)

Employment status: Contract of Services under PHIVOLCS locally-funded project

Job Description

  1. Assist in the processing of hazard and exposure data and calculates earthquake impacts
  2. Assist in coordination with stakeholder related to impact results and in processing administrative tasks
  3. Assist in the development of hazard monitoring tools
  4. Assist in facilitating scientific sessions related to hazards, exposure and impact calculations
  5. Assist in technical report writing
  6. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by Supervisor

Educational Background

  • Graduate of any course such as BS Civil Engineering, Geology, Geography, Geodetic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any relevant BS Science / Engineering courses

 Experience/Training/Competency

  • Licensure is an advantage for profession requiring PRC board licenses
