Monthly Salary: PhP 47,606
Job Description
– Leads LGU stakeholder coordination to establish GeoRiskPH partnerships through MOAs (LGU assignment, as determined by supervisor)
– Organizes and implements GeoRiskPH trainings, workshops, conventions and other capacity-building activities.
– Facilitates lectures, training-workshops and other capacity building activities
– Leads in the formulation of GeoRiskPH Modules and Lectures.
– Manages LGU-specific GeoRiskPH databases, map service publishing, and GeoMapperPH web app development.
– Collaborate with internal (PHIVOLCS) and external stakeholders
– Conducts fieldwork and agency relevant-lectures, as deemed necessary
– Writes reports related to the planning and implementation of the project
– Draft papers/manuscripts for potential publication in peer-reviewed journals, as deemed necessary
– Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
Educational Background
– BS Geology; BS Geography; BS Geodetic Engineering, Information Technology, or related course
Experience/Training/Competency
– With at least 2 years proven advanced knowledge in database systems and ArcGIS geodatabases;
– With good interpersonal and excellent communication skills; and
– With experience in managing teams.
